Getting your new countertops involves a process to make sure that you receive high quality materials and the best quality installation as well. Either you are designing or remodeling your space, you have to keep some things in mind.

Before the Installation

Material. What type of material do you have in mind? There is a wide variety of material to choose from: quartz, granite, or marble.

Cabinets. Make sure you have your cabinets already installed before we go to measure your space. Custom cabinets takes longer than standard ones.

Sinks and appliances. If you are designing or remodeling your kitchen, do you want a stainless steel, porcelain, or farm sink? Are you installing a range/oven or a cook top? Any oven? Are you keeping your vent hood or do you want a new one?

Baths. When designing a bath, keep in mind how many people are using a specific bath. How many sinks do you need? Do you want a surrounded tub? Maybe you need a shower seat? You may need a nice shelf to put your creams, lotions, and makeup.

Laundry, utility room and pantry. Putting an extra in some hidden spaces is a plus for your house. Think about your laundry room with an utility sink. Or maybe your pantry needs nice shelves to storage your glasses, cups, and expensive kitchen items.

Important notes: If you are remodeling, you need to demolish your old tile and/or countertops. We can help you with this. Our team will do it with care and safety. Also, you want to make sure you disconnect all your appliances that may interfere with the installation procedure.

Getting a quote and time frame.

Once we have measured your space and you have chosen the material you want to use, now it is the time to create the pieces for you. We setup a date to demolish (if necessary) and an installation date as well. We provide a very detailed process in creating every piece. Usually it takes some days before we go to install your new tops.

Take note of these important information. Our team will need some space to park and download the heavy pieces. Make sure you have your space (kitchen, bath, office, or any other space) free from obstacles so our team can easily and safely maneuver the heavy and delicate pieces. We require access to electrical plugs to do some final adjustments and cuts, especially if we are installing a full backsplash. If you have a fiery friend, keep him/her away from our work team.

Quartz Countertops

Quartz is a man-made material. With a plethora of designs, you may choose a specific brand, designer, color, and thickness. With engineered materials involved, quartz countertops requires minimum maintenance and retains its color throughout the time.

Granite Countertops

If you prefer natural stone, then granite is your choice. Granite is composed mainly of quartz and other minerals. It is hard and durable enough to resist abrasion and bear significant weight. It requires care and maintenance to avoid stains and keep it always looking beautiful.

Marble Countertops

Marble is typically composed of a beautiful mosaic of carbonate crystals. Being a natural stone, you expect each slab will differ from one to another. Because of its natural porosity, it requires more care and maintenance than man-made quartz.
